Booster Club

The Rockford Lutheran Booster Club is the parent-teacher organization primarily supporting the Jr/Sr High School.

Our goal is to promote and encourage active interest in academics, the fine arts, and all athletic programs at the Jr/Sr High School campus. We support the teachers, staff and coaches who work with your students every day. The Booster Club has granted more than $400,000 to school programs since 2010!

Membership in the Booster Club is open to anyone. You don’t have to have a student at the campus to join the organization, just a desire to help the kids be all they can be. Membership dues help provide a critical regular form of income in addition to our many other fundraising efforts to help continue making the many support efforts possible each year. The Booster Club holds meetings monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of each month starting at 6:30pm in the C.O.R.E. (unless otherwise noted). These meetings are where we coordinate our support efforts, review and prioritize school needs for funding, and plan for upcoming activities   ALL are welcome!

The Booster Club also runs the Jr/Sr High School Spirit Shop. Clothing and merchandise options are available at many games and events or from the ONLINE STORE.

2024-2025 BOOSTER CLUB SCHOLARSHIP

The Rockford Lutheran Booster Club Scholarship was established in 2013 to help assist Rockford Lutheran Senior High School students with furthering their education, keeping in line with the Booster Club’s goal to “promote and fund excellence in athletics, academics and the arts at Rockford Lutheran Jr./Sr. High.” Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded, one to the top boy applicant and one to the top girl applicant (see further details in application document).

• Student applicant must be a Senior enrolled full-time and in good standing at Rockford Lutheran High School and may not be on any probationary status.
• Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA (weighted per RLS policy) through the end of the Fall semester of the senior year.
• Winning students must fulfill all graduation requirements of RLS and remain in good standing (academic and disciplinary) through the end of the semester to receive the award.

Application must be downloaded, completed, signed and submitted with transcript. Completed applications must be submitted to the High School Office by 4:00 pm, Friday, April 19th, 2024.

Booster Club Grants Program

Rockford Lutheran booster club is an all school booster club and as such supports all programs and projects at Rockford Lutheran school. The Booster Club will, from time to time, make available grant funding for various programs and projects. To do so, a grant request form is submitted and a majority vote of membership present shall determine the outcome. Grant recipients will have one year to use the funds granted.

• Small grant requests (up to $500.00) are due by the first of any month. The grant will be presented and voted upon at the next booster club meeting following receipt.
• Large grant requests (greater than $500.00) are due October 1st and will be discussed and voted upon at the November Booster Club meeting.  The Booster Club will also consider large grants in the spring of each school year. Spring grant requests are due April 1st and will be discussed and voted upon at the May Booster Club meeting.
