Lutheran High School of the Greater Rockford Area
Rockford Lutheran School is owned and operated by the Lutheran High School Association of the Greater Rockford Area, a pan-Lutheran membership organization of Lutheran congregations in our region. The purpose of the Association is to respond to our Lord's commands to make disciples of all nations and to equip God's people for works of service by operating Rockford Lutheran School as a cooperative ministry between home and congregation, encouraging growth in the academic, social, physical and spiritual lives of its students, their families, the community and the world.
Through appointed delegates, Member Congregations serve as the owners of Rockford Lutheran School and elect the Board of Directors to oversee the proper governance and operation of the school. Through their participation, prayers, and financial gifts, these congregations offer invaluable support to our school.
Partner congregations support our ministry in various ways and work with us as their educational partner, but are not formal members of the Association.
