Honors’ Summer Reading Initiative


This summer, RLHS will continue our Honors’ Summer Reading Initiative. Students were given details in the last week of Honors’ English classes, but here’s a quick overview:

Entering 9th Grade – Honors Freshman English

  • Read “I Am The Cheese” by Robert Cormier

Entering 10th Grade – Honors Sophomores English

  • Read “Tuesdays with Morrie” by Mitch Albom

  • Write two paragraphs connecting to the characters

  • Read a selection from the “American Classic Literature” list (on Mr. Schach’s list).
