EVERYBODY:

Crusader Honor Society:  All current and new Crusader Honor Society members please meet in the MPR during the extended passing period after 2nd hour for a short meeting concerning the upcoming induction ceremony.

Cross Country Team Results:  On Saturday morning the boys and girls cross country teams competed at Regionals at Fuller Forest Preserve, and for the 3rd time in 4 years both the boys and girls team qualified for the Sectional Championships! Sophomore Kyle Gnewuch finished 7th in the boys race, and freshman Abagail Baumann finished 7th in the girls race and was the top freshman overall. Both teams will compete at Sectionals at Oregon this Saturday.

Meanwhile the junior high boys cross country team competed at the LSA National Championships at Concordia University Wisconsin and finished 9th out of 19 teams! The boys were led by Kyle Enke who finished 24th overall. Way to go, Saders!

Brookview Elementary Monster Mash:  Service hour opportunity for all students at Brookview elementary school from 12:30 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 29th.  We are looking for volunteers for their Monster Mash.  We need volunteers to set up and run carnival games.  This can earn you four service hours.  Adult volunteers are also welcome.  There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board outside the office.  For more information, please talk to Jake Gustafson.

Muffin Sale:  The Builders Club is having a muffin sale for dream riders.  It is an organization that helps kids with disabilities go horseback riding.  The sale will be held October 26th-October 28th.   You can buy them at 7:30am and the cost is $2.00 each.

Spirit Wear Sale:  Friday after school 3:15-3:45 there will be old spirit wear shirts for $3 and $5 for sale in the MPR.

 

SENIOR HIGH:

Freshman Class Shirts:  Turn in shirt order forms with payment to Mr. Hamrick by Wednesday, Oct. 26th.  Pay with cash or check.

Sophomores:  Shirt order forms need to be turned in to Mrs. Giamalva’s room by Wed. 10/26.  You can pay cash or check.

Senior Class Shirts:  Senior class shirts are available for pick up in the MPR during lunch today through October 26th.  You are also able to pay an optional $5 to tie dye your shirt.

Sophomores, please see Mr. Kortze if you are interested in the HOBY State Leadership Program.  This is an excellent opportunity to attend a weekend seminar and develop your leadership skills through a well-renowned national program.
