REMINDER:  Remember to REMOVE YOUR LOCKS FROM YOUR LOCKER when leaving for the school year.  Returning students should keep their locks to use for next year.

Locker Clean Out:  If you have a PE class you will be cleaning out your hall locker today during class.  If you do not have PE you will clean out your locker during study hall, health or computer skills class.

Final Exams for Zoom Students: Full and part-time synchronous zoom students should take exams on site, on the regular exam schedule, since their class time was on regular schedule.



Juniors who wish to be eligible to be an Illinois State Scholar need to complete their ACT or SAT before June 30.  Get registered soon!

Chapel Band:  Next year’s junior & seniors interested in taking a class to present chapel (one for chapel band and one for the service) should go to Mr. Kortze for the signup sheet asap.

Interested in a teaching career?  Looking for a summer experience for your resume? Galapagos Charter school has the opportunity.  The Summer Teaching Fellowship is a chance for recent high school graduates and current college students to spend a summer internship teaching students in grades K-8.  See the board outside the office or contact Mr. Kortze for more information.

The Rockford Mayor’s Youth Leadership Council is accepting applications for next year.  This is a great opportunity for high school students to work with the Mayor and County Board Chair to make improvements in our community.  You also develop great leadership experiences and can indicate your dedication to service and harmony in our community.  See Mr. Kortze for application information.
