Crusaders in Action:  Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 22, 11am-4pm.   This will be the 2nd Annual Crusaders in Action Donation Drive-Through and Cleanup Day. We need student and parent volunteers.  The hours will count towards next school year student service hours.  See Mrs. Iasparro to sign up!

Boys & Girls Golf Teams:  There will be a meeting for all boys & girls 9-12 grades that are playing golf next year in the fall.  Meet in the auditorium after school at 3:15pm TODAY, May 19th.  See Coach L with questions.

Cross Country Meeting:  There will be a cross country informational meeting TODAY, May 19 at 3:20 in Mr. Poppe’s room (room 111). This is for both new and returning runners. New runners are not making a commitment to the team by coming, you can attend just to get a better idea of what cross country is about. Go Crusaders!

Junior NHS Members:  Meet in the JH gym during 3rd lunch on Thursday to vote for officers next year.

Interested in a teaching career?  Looking for a summer experience for your resume? Galapagos Charter school has the opportunity.  The Summer Teaching Fellowship is a chance for recent high school graduates and current college students to spend a summer internship teaching students in grades K-8.  See the board outside the office or contact Mr. Kortze for more information.

The Rockford Mayor’s Youth Leadership Council is accepting applications for next year.  This is a great opportunity for high school students to work with the Mayor and County Board Chair to make improvements in our community.  You also develop great leadership experiences and can indicate your dedication to service and harmony in our community.  See Mr. Kortze for application information.
