Class Schedule Changes:  Tomorrow, January 17, is the last day to make schedule changes.  After that, a dropped class results in a Withdrawal-Failure on your transcript.



Attention Seniors: Please stop by Ms. Vito’s room (107) to sign a page in the yearbook by Wednesday, January 22nd. Senior quotes are due to Ms. Vito by Friday, January 24th.

Sophomores – It is time to start planning for college!  Bring your parents and join us at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 22nd in the CORE for a one-hour presentation on how to begin the process for making the most of your college experience.  See Mr. Kortze if you have questions.

Drive-Right:  The class for Drive-Right started.  The class meets Monday through Friday at 7:00am to 7:40am for seven weeks in room 110.  There are still openings available.  The student must be at least 14 years and 11 months of age to enroll.  If you are interested in joining this class, please contact Drive Right at 815-965-4638. You may join anytime this week.

Students:  If you are interested in a career in criminal justice studies, see Mr. Kortze about the State’s Attorney’s Office Junior Ambassador Program. Volunteer service hours available.

Junior and Senior Girls:  If you are interested in attending the 7th Annual Sister-to-Sister Conference at Rock Valley College on Friday, March 13, please see Mr. Kortze.  This is an opportunity to experience speakers and programming specifically designed to inspire young women to believe in themselves and equip them to overcome any obstacles in their future.

Attention juniors and seniors:  If you are interested in attending the 2020 Building Trades Career Expo on February 11, please see Mr. Kortze.  This is for anyone interested in any building trade related career such as welding, electrician, carpenter, heavy equipment operator, etc.
