WILL and ESTATE PLANNING SERVICES
Change is certainty. Being prepared is a responsibility.
For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
2 Corinthians 8:12
Change is inevitable. Rockford Lutheran School is helping you prepare for that change by offering FREE will and estate planning services. Having a plan in place will not only ensure that your assets are protected, but that your wishes for things like guardianship and power of attorney are carried out the way you intend.
Rockford Lutheran School is partnering with SFC Estate Coaching to coach and educate individuals and families through the estate planning process. Estate Coaches, Tom Slye and Craig Mellendorf, will meet with you (and your spouse, if married) for a FREE one-hour confidential appointment to begin the process of setting up your will or trust. Experience a feeling of relief and satisfaction knowing that you are prepared for the future!
The process is simple. Here is what you can expect when you meet with an SFC Estate Coach:
- All personal information is confidential and is only shared with your permission.
- You will receive two appointments. Tom or Craig will guide you through the planning and data gathering process, after which time you will be “attorney ready.”
- Once your plan and documentation is complete, Tom or Craig will help you connect with an attorney of your choosing.
Due to the recent outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), SFC Estate Coaching now provides the option of meeting virtually through a program called ZOOM. ZOOM is a reliable online virtual conferencing tool that allows users to speak in real time through a home computer, laptop or cell phone. Rockford Lutheran School recommends that meetings take place virtually rather than face to face for the time being.
