- Preschool Aid position covers from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm every school day. Assists classroom teacher in supervising and engaging students in classroom, learning environment and other activities by students during the class day. May be asked to provide direct instruction on skills or learning tasks by a teacher 1-on-1 or in small groups. Assists classroom teacher with other needs during the day as required.

Reporting to the Head of School, the School Office Manager provides direct administrative support to the Head of School, including the school and Foundation Boards, and JSHS Principal and serves as manager of school office support for the school. The employee organizes, directs and performs varied and complex clerical and administrative processes with confidentiality and sensitivity, utilizing independent judgment, initiative, tact, patience and courtesy. Requires office administration experience, preferably in a school setting, strong customer service skills and strong technology skills with desktop applications and database applications.

DIRECTOR OF ADVANCMENT OPENING:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Advancement reports directly to the Head of School as a member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for providing leadership to our developing and maintaining external-facing relationships and maintaining a strong institutional brand in our market and region. The Director is also responsible for the development and attainment of fundraising goals, budgets and any fundraising campaigns for the school. The key areas of responsibility within the Advancement Office are development, including major gifts and annual fund fundraising, marketing and communications, and alumni services. The Director will work with the Head of School, who is the Chief Fundraiser, and will also directly work assigned significant donor contacts for cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. The Advancement Office oversees all fundraising, donor recognition and alumni events for the school. Ensures and assists the Marketing and Communications functions to serve the internal and external needs for communications, production of high quality publications and print materials, and all official messaging and communications to external audiences and provide support to our admissions efforts at each school.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES SUMMARY:
- Lead and oversee Advancement Office staff, budgets and operations
- Working with the Head of School, proposes fundraising priorities with goals and strategies, to attain those goals and is accountable to the attainment of those goals

Rockford Lutheran School (RLS) seeks to fill the position of Elementary School Principal beginning with the 2023-2024 academic year. Rockford Lutheran Elementary School is a co-educational, private Christian primary school serving over 320 students from PK3 (3-yr old program) through grade 5 from throughout the Rockford and surrounding Stateline area. The Rockford Lutheran School ministry is based on three guiding principles central to its purpose statement and the overall mission of RLS: seeking academic excellence, being a Christ-centered Christian community, and developing leadership in service.
The Mission of RLS is be the provider of an exceptional college preparatory education in a challenging and inspiring Christian environment.
In keeping with this mission and purpose, the Principal of Rockford Lutheran Elementary School is the senior leader for the elementary school campus and serves on the school-wide Executive Council leadership team reporting to the Head of School. The successful candidate will hold an Illinois Professional Educator License with a Principal endorsement or be a certified school administrator in another state, or should be capable and prepared to become licensed as a school administrator in the State of Illinois, and should have earned Master’s degree. An understanding of school, management business and finance is preferred along with previous administrative experience in a school setting. The salary is competitive and is determined by relevant experience and educational attainment.
