Staff Positions Currently Open
Elementary Campus
> Preschool, Before School Care Aid PT staff, school year employment, Non-Exempt (hourly)
These positions can be combined for a single employee or filled separately. Start date for both opening is October 6, 2023.
- Before Care Aid position covers from 6:30 am until 8:00 am every school day. Check-in students dropped off for before care, assists with supervises of children in Before Care services and other duties as requested by the Principal.
- Preschool Aid position covers from 7:45 am until 3:00 pm every school day. Assists classroom teacher in supervising and engaging students in classroom, learning environment and other activities by students during the class day. May be asked to provide direct instruction on skills or learning tasks by a teacher 1-on-1 or in small groups. Assists classroom teacher with other needs during the day as required.
> Facilities Support Specialist FT staff, 12-month, Non-Exempt (hourly)
Provides daytime support to all areas of facilities and technology support including the traditional functions of a porter, janitor, maintenance technician, first level help desk, IT assistant and similar roles. Seeks to proactively address issues and meet the needs to teachers and staff. Monitors the work of contractors on-site.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Monitoring hallways and bathrooms for cleanliness and orderliness periodically during day and addressing issues
- Assist with lunchroom setup and janitorial issues and post lunch cleanup
- Check and clean main entryway and lobby periodically during day, regularly check bathrooms for general cleanliness and orderliness
- Perform maintenance tasks as assigned to keep the building and grounds in good working repair
- Assist with contractors as needed or requested
- Verifying that classroom and instructional lab technologies are up and running each day and reporting or troubleshooting technology issues with the Director of IT and help extend support to teachers with instructional technology issues during the day
- Assist Director of IT as on-sight support for other basic level IT issues during the day
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with skills in written and oral communication and an ability to work with all types of people in a variety of conditions
- Three years or more experience with similar supporting roles in at least one of the core areas of facilities maintenance or IT support
- Experience in a customer support role with demonstrated success

Essential Duties for ALL Instructional Positions
- Integrates Biblical principles and Christian worldview throughout curriculum, while presenting the specific beliefs of the ELCA and LCMS church bodies in balance
- Teaches skills, knowledge, and concepts following approved curriculum and appropriate learning activities to enable students to achieve established course standards of achievement
- Utilizes a variety of methodologies of instruction using educational equipment, books, and learning aids
- Uses instructional technology resources effectively when appropriate and provides for online learning resources and class support via Canvas or Google Classroom, including an online gradebook
- Prepares well-developed lesson plans according to school policy and course objectives

DIRECTOR OF ADVANCMENT OPENING:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Advancement reports directly to the Head of School as a member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for providing leadership to our developing and maintaining external-facing relationships and maintaining a strong institutional brand in our market and region. The Director is also responsible for the development and attainment of fundraising goals, budgets and any fundraising campaigns for the school. The key areas of responsibility within the Advancement Office are development, including major gifts and annual fund fundraising, marketing and communications, and alumni services. The Director will work with the Head of School, who is the Chief Fundraiser, and will also directly work assigned significant donor contacts for cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. The Advancement Office oversees all fundraising, donor recognition and alumni events for the school. Ensures and assists the Marketing and Communications functions to serve the internal and external needs for communications, production of high quality publications and print materials, and all official messaging and communications to external audiences and provide support to our admissions efforts at each school.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES SUMMARY:
- Lead and oversee Advancement Office staff, budgets and operations
- Working with the Head of School, proposes fundraising priorities with goals and strategies, to attain those goals and is accountable to the attainment of those goals
- Serve as Major Gift fundraiser and coordinate the efforts of the Head of School in lead donors and direct any other Major Gift Officers
- Recommends policy, crafts procedures, oversees processes and ensures relationship-focused culture and current best practice implementations
- Leadership and guidance to Marketing and Communications Office and staff to shape external communications and brand image
- Ensures planning and coordination of special fundraising events, donor or alumni events and other external focused school events
