Our fully accredited Dual Credit program allows students to complete their first year of college by the time they graduate high school. This translates to earning a Bachelor’s degree in only 3 years and significant financial savings for families! Students are able to attend classes during the regular school day, while remaining on campus. They are granted college credit by Concordia University Nebraska, assuring that this dual credit work on our campus will be accepted towards their college diploma. AND, Rockford Lutheran is the only school in the area to have individual transfer agreements with more than 25 colleges and universities, that have agreed to pre-equated course correlations assuring these credits will be accepted by the receiving institution.
1+3 Program at a Glance
- Earn college credit at RLS through our dual credit program to complete your first year of college before graduating from high school.
- More than 50 major universities have joined our “1+3” Program, approving the transfer of our credits in advance, assuring students of their ability to begin their college experience while still in high school.
- More than 80% of RLS students taking AP tests receive college credit in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, College Calculus, World Language and Senior Honors English
- Junior High students average two to three years above national academic averages.
- 95+% of graduating seniors go on to college
