Class Add/Drop Forms: Drop/Add slips are due to the Guidance office by 3:30 today.  Last day to change a class!

Red Cross Water Bottle Drive: Does an out of uniform day sound refreshing?  We are partnering with Alpine Fireside to collect water bottles for the Red Cross.  In order to achieve an out of uniform day we need to collect 3,000 bottles.  The drive will run from Sept. 1-6.  Please drop water bottles off at the front door, Jr High door, main office or your homeroom.


Class Officers:  If you are interested in running for Freshmen President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer, or Senior Vice President, please attend ONE mandatory meeting  Wednesday, September 4th at 7:30 or 3:10.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Ernst in Room 126.

Model UN participants: don’t forget that your deposit is due by Friday.  Talk to Ms. Ernst if you have any questions or concerns.  Also, please attend a quick meeting in Ms. Ernst’s room during homeroom on Thursday, September 5th.

In Youth We Trust Council:  High School students. Interested in being on the “In Youth We Trust Council” that grants money to are youth community projects?  See Mr. Kortze for info.  They meet once a month on Saturday morning.  A great experience for community volunteering

Drive-Right Classes:  Drive-Right is offering driver’s education classes at Rockford Lutheran for any student who turns 15 by the last class session.  The classes meet Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 7:40 am for 7 weeks beginning September 9th.  Call Drive-Right at 815-965-4638 or register online at www.drive-right.com.  Classes are limited to the first 35 students who register.

David’s Bridal Coupons:  There are coupons for David’s Bridal available in the school office for anyone who is interested in shopping there for homecoming dresses.
