High School Students: Friday is Career Day. We will have a special schedule with a presentation from the Winnebago County Coroner and First Responders, followed by Chapel and our Career Day activities. Everyone is expected to be in their first hour class at 7:45. Students with late arrival are expected to be here at 7:45 as well. Your attendance will be taken in the MPR. Please dress warm, as our first activity at 8am will be outside.
Junior High students will meet with their first hour teacher. From there you will go to your assigned activity.
All students will be dismissed at 1. Please have rides arranged at that time.
Next Year’s Chapel Team: Anyone seeking to be a part of chapel team for the upcoming school year should see Mr. Hamrick for an application. The deadline for the application is TODAY April 23rd.
Summer Job Opportunity: Team Corn Detasseling is hiring students ages 12 & up for summer detasseling. There are local pick up sites and local fields. Earn up to $10.00 per hour depending on your ability. The season starts around July 5th and runs for 10-20 days. Informational brochures are available in the school office.
Any current freshman, sophomore, or junior who is interested in running for next year's class President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer, please attend an informative meeting Tuesday or Wednesday, April 24th or 25th, before or after school. The meetings should take about 10 minutes, and you MUST attend one of the meetings in order to be able to run. Any questions, please see Ms. Ernst before the end of the day on the 25th.
Attention Seniors: A member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church has set up a scholarship fund to award 2 $1500 tuition scholarships to a high school Sr. who will be attending a Christian College next year. Please see Mr. Kortze if you are interested in applying.
Military Academy Visit: High School Sophomores and Juniors interested in one of the military academies, you have an opportunity to meet with representatives from the 5 academies in Chicago on May 19. See Mr. Kortze for details.
High School Boys Golf: There is a sign up sheet in the main office for those interested in boy’s golf next fall.

Prom Tickets! Prom is here! Get your tickets for the dance during lunch between April 23rd and May 4th. Individuals are $40 and couples are $80!
Prom Guest Passes: Guest pass forms are available in the office for Prom 2018! If the same guest accompanied you to Homecoming 2017, see Ms. Ernst for a renewable guest pass.
