EVERYBODY:

Found:  A pair of sunglasses in a black DKNY case were found in the parking lot.  Claim in the office.

Service Hours Opportunity:  Spring Creek Church needs student help with carrying things for their annual rummage sale.  The dates needed are April 8 and 9.

Tri M Bake Sale:  The music honor society will be having a bake sale Monday, March 26 – Wednesday, March 28 to fundraise for the music department of a Lutheran School in Houston who suffered major water damage from the hurricanes.  The sale will be during lunches.

 

SENIOR HIGH:

Rock Valley College Visit:  Seniors planning to attend RVC next year need to sign up for the campus visit and registration trip on April 20.  Stop in the Guidance Office today to pick up your permission form.

Science National Honor Society:  There will be a meeting Tuesday, March 27, to discuss future field trips.  The meeting will be in room 106.

Drive-Right Classes:  Once again DRIVE-RIGHT SCHOOL OF DRIVING will be teaching driver’s education at Rockford Lutheran High School.    Classes meet Monday through Friday at 7 a.m. for seven weeks. You may still enroll this week.  A student must be at least 14 years and 11 months of age to enroll.  Students may register by PHONE (815) 965-4638 or ONLINE at www.drive-right.com

College sweatshirt policy for seniors:   As part of the recognition of the culminating efforts that the seniors have put in during their years in school, students in the senior class will be permitted, on Fridays, to wear sweatshirts or t-shirts representing a college or university.  This privilege will be granted to the seniors starting on the Friday following Easter break and continuing until graduation so long as administration does not deem that students are abusing the privilege.  In all matters of dress code, seniors will still be expected to maintain the dress code prescribed for the rest of the students.
