Service Hours Opportunity:  Spring Creek Church needs student help with carrying things for their annual rummage sale.  The dates needed are April 8 and 9.

SENIOR HIGH:

Father or “Father Figure”/Daughter  Dance: The dance will be held at Forest Hills Country Club and is available to grades 9-12.  Tickets are $50 and will be sold during lunch through March 21st.  Price includes dinner at 6:00pm, live DJ from 7-10:30, a photo booth, door prizes and a dance contest.  Come and bond together James Bond style!

Matrix Seminar:  Did you miss the 2nd Matrix Seminar?  Actually, you didn’t. The 2nd installment of the seminars on matrices will be today, March 13th in room 116 after school.  Hope to see you there.

Service Hours Opportunity:  Van Matre Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital has a volunteer opportunity for high school students. Some things volunteers may be doing include:

Talking with the patients

Helping to bring admissions back to their room and waiting with them until the nurse arrives

Playing games with patients, 1 on 1 or in a group setting

Movie Night

Craft night

Bingo Night

Decorating the Hospital

AP Testing:  Students interested in registering for an AP test need to stop in the Guidance Office and pick up registration forms.  Forms and checks are due back to the office by March 15.

Drive-Right Classes:  Once again DRIVE-RIGHT SCHOOL OF DRIVING will be teaching driver’s education at Rockford Lutheran High School.  The class start date will be March 19, 2018.  Classes meet Monday through Friday at 7 a.m. for seven weeks.  A student must be at least 14 years and 11 months of age to enroll.  Students may register by PHONE (815) 965-4638 or ONLINE at www.drive-right.com

RVC/NIU Engineering Info Session:  Students interested in mechanical engineering are invited to learn how you can get an engineering degree from Northern Illinois University while attending classes on the campus of Rock Valley College.
