EVERYBODY:

Christian Service Opportunities:  Opportunities for Christian service are posted under the window outside the Guidance Office. They are updated regularly.

Homecoming Dress Up Days:

Monday:  Candyland, Sweet Dreams – come in your PJs

Tuesday:  Operation, Dr/Patient – dress up as a doctor or a hospital patient

Wednesday: Guess Who, Identity Crisis – Dress up to imitate someone, keep it classy

Thursday:  Fortress America, Patriotic – Dress in red, white & blue

Friday:  Battleship, Class Rivalry

Homecoming t-shirts and tickets!!

- Homecoming t-shirts and tickets will be on sale from now until the end of Homecoming week in the snack shack during lunches

- T-shirts will cost $15 and will be sold during lunches and will also be available Tuesday 9/26 before school

- Tickets will cost $15 per person, or $30 per couple.  They will be sold during 1st and 3rd lunches and at the door for Rockford Lutheran students only.

 - Guest pass tickets MUST BE purchased by 9/27 - NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Homecoming T-shirts If you buy a current, this year RL homecoming t-shirt, you can wear it any day (with school bottoms) until Homecoming.  The shirts are $15 and are sold during all lunches.

Red Cross Club:  RCC members and any students interested in exploring Health Science programs at Rock Valley College, please sign up and get a permission slip from the Health Office.  Permission slips are due by Sept. 29.

Girls Golf Results:  Congratulations on a big win at the Freeport Invitational this weekend!  Also, congrats to the three girls who finished in the top 10:  Natalie Hooper, Brighton Young & Caitlin Schoepfer.

 

 

SENIOR HIGH:

Leadership Retreat: Valparaiso University is hosting a Lutheran High School Leadership Retreat for Lutheran high school seniors and juniors October 20-22, 2017.  They are inviting up to four exceptional students from our junior and senior classes who would benefit from an experience.  Along with an education component there is also community building and fun. Everyone will be part of large- and small-group learning modules, take part in a servant event, and be in the company of other Lutheran high school students who are leaders within their churches and schools.  See Mr. Kortze for more information.
