Hurrican Harvey Relief: Student Council and Student Life are sponsoring a donation drive for Hurricane Harvey relief! We are specifically collecting diapers (all sizes), baby wipes, paper towels, all toiletries, and new or gently used clothing. Please make a donation for those in need. Please bring items to your homeroom teacher!
Art Club: Art Club will meet after school tomorrow in the Art Room (02). Sign up for volunteers who will be able to attend the Rockford Art Fair this weekend and give their time to help children create art. If you would like to join Art Club but are not able to attend Wednesday please see Sam Wagner.
Christian Service Opportunities: Opportunities for Christian service are posted under the window outside the Guidance Office. They are updated regularly.
Girls Golf Results: Girls golf won with a score of 170 over Stillman Valley & Byron. Conference record is 5-0 & overall is 9-0. Congratulations Lady Saders!

Class Meetings: Thursday, September 14th during Homeroom we will hold our annual class meetings. This is your time to make plans for homecoming and discuss any other topics that are related to your class activities. This is the only class meeting that is scheduled for the year, so make good use of the time.

Science National Honor Society Meeting: Members of the Science National Honor Society will meet tomorrow, Sept. 13, during homeroom in room 108.
National Honor Society Meeting: There will be an NHS meeting today, Sept 12, during homeroom in the MPR. This is a reschedule of the meeting originally scheduled for last Thursday.
Prom Committee: Prom planning has begun! Any juniors wishing to be a part of the prom committee and wanting to help with the event planning, come to a meeting during homeroom today, Sept. 12th. The meeting will be in Mr. Sievert’s room, 108.
Manufacturing Tours: In October, the Rockford community will be hosting Manufacturing tours and open houses at several businesses throughout the area as part of MFGDAY and Superior Joining Technologies would like to invite the high school students from Lutheran to tour their facility. This is a way to spark interest in STEM related fields for our students at they decide on career paths to choose. You will be able to see and experience what manufacturing opportunities are really like in our community. This will take place on October 6th. Please sign up in the Guidance Office if you are interested in participating.
